St. Thomas Catholic Syro Malabar Church in Mira Road is a vibrant parish serving the Syro Malabar Catholic community in the city.
Located in the bustling suburb of Mira Road, the church is known for its active congregation and dynamic pastoral activities. It offers regular liturgical services in the Syro Malabar rite, blending traditional Eastern Christian practices with a contemporary spirit.
At present, the Church has a strength of 300 plus registered families. The parish is divided into 17 family units for the smooth functioning of the parish activities. The activities of the Parish Council, Pithruvedi, Mathrusangam, Seraphim Youth, and Catechism, Choir group, Altar boys and Charismatic group are leading the parish to march ahead.
The church also plays a significant role in community building through various educational, social, and cultural programs, fostering a strong sense of faith and unity among its members..
